Wills, Probate and Power of Attorney

Wills

Dying without a Will allows the law to decide how your estate should be divided and who should act as your Executor. By making a Will, you will make that decision yourself. This will also allow you to make plans with regard to any potential Inheritance Tax liability.

We will draft your Will and check that it is properly executed. We have come across instances where a home made Will has been challenged because it was not executed properly.

Making a Will is relatively inexpensive and will give you peace of mind.

Probate

We also act in obtaining probate or letters of administration following the death of a loved one. We can assist, regardless of whether a Will was made or not. We aim to provide a prompt and efficient service at a competitive price.

Power of Attorney

There are two types usable in the UK: Heath and Welfare & Property and Affairs. These are needed to give someone else, the authority to manage your affairs. This is particularly helpful if you need help in dealing with third parties or are likely to need such help. We prepare the necessary documents and register them with the Court.
